I. Platform Overview

The positioning and value of the DVS Data Collection & Visualization Platform.

  • Industrial sites face a mix of device brands, numerous protocols and severe data silos; DVS acts as the digitalization foundation, unifying the "screen layer + protocol layer" data collected by each gateway into a single model.
  • The platform shields underlying device differences, freeing MES/ERP/SCADA from device models and interfaces so they can focus on business value.
  • Private deployment by default keeps data on the customer's intranet / private network, meeting compliance requirements of sensitive industries such as semiconductor, finance, medical and classified sectors.

II. Core Capabilities

Key capabilities of the platform for industrial sites.

  • Multi-source device access and gateway management: centrally manage gateways such as APM-G220 (video / OCR), AIS-T100 (video OCR data collection) and AIS-G160 (protocol), with unified control of device lists, online status, grouping and permissions.
  • Protocol model management: a built-in library of 500+ industrial protocol templates supports point-table configuration, register mapping and data modeling for fast onboarding of new devices.
  • Tiered alarms: threshold alarms, trend alarms and linked alarms, pushed by device / process / shift tier for rapid anomaly localization.
  • Data center: time-series database + historical archive + batch records, supporting SPC, quality traceability and compliance auditing.
  • Visualization dashboards: configurable dashboards, production-line digital twin, and multi-dimensional OEE / yield display — monitor the status of all factory equipment on one screen.
  • Standard data-open interfaces: RESTful API, OPC UA, MQTT and Modbus integrate seamlessly with MES/ERP/SCADA without modifying upper-level systems.

III. Core Feature Showcase

From device management to data analytics — DVS covers visualization, alarming and decision-making for all factory equipment in one place.

DVS Data Model Management

Data Model Management

Unified management of device data fields (points / type / data type), supporting arbitrary customer-defined field extensions and template-based reuse.

DVS Device Instances & Runtime Status

Device Instances & Runtime Status

Device instance details (MQTT connection protocol, firmware version, online/offline time) plus a real-time event library (on/off alarms, machining status, etc.); the event library supports custom business types.

DVS Protocol Library Management

Protocol Library Management

Template-based management of 800+ industrial protocols (Siemens / Mitsubishi / FANUC, etc.), organized by brand / category, supporting fast onboarding of new devices.

IV. Technical Architecture

A four-layer architecture from edge sensing to upper-layer applications.

  • Edge access layer: APM-G220 video / keyboard-mouse, AIS-T100 video OCR, AIS-G160 protocol collection — stream capture, recognition and cleansing done at the edge
  • Data aggregation layer: DVS centrally manages gateways, performing data modeling, quality validation and time-series archiving by protocol model
  • Service layer: tiered alarms, data center, visualization configuration — exposing standard data interfaces outward
  • Application layer: MES/ERP/SCADA consume data via standard interfaces, driving production coordination, quality traceability and decision optimization

V. Collaboration with Industrial Gateways

Data and capability synergy between the platform and APM-G220 / AIS-T100 / AIS-G160.

  • With APM-G220: receives screen-level operation results, OCR text and recording indexes, precipitating them into traceable electronic records.
  • With AIS-T100: receives structured characters (parameters, counts, status) recognized by video-stream OCR, filling gaps in protocol-less device data.
  • With AIS-G160: receives device operation / process data collected via 500+ protocols, cleansed at the edge and then sent up for unified modeling.

VI. Applicable Scenarios

How the platform is deployed in typical industry scenarios.

  • Semiconductor packaging & test: unified aggregation of recipe switching and process parameters, supporting SPC and yield analysis
  • Electronics assembly / SMT: correlated analysis of multi-brand data from printers, placement machines, reflow ovens and AOI
  • Machining / CNC: unified dashboards for multi-brand machine-tool status, output, alarms and tooling data
  • Robotics / automation: monitoring of robot cycle time, alarms and I/O linkage
  • Pharma / food GMP: continuous acquisition of key process parameters and compliant traceability
  • Data center / server room: centralized management of out-of-band O&M data for multi-site equipment

VII. Value & Quantified Metrics

VIII. Deployment Boundaries & Compliance

Compliance & Applicable Boundaries

The DVS platform is deployed privately by default on the customer's own servers or private cloud, with data never leaving the enterprise boundary; sensitive industries such as finance, classified, medical and semiconductor must deploy on an on-site private / intranet network, with gateways connecting via the private network and 4G not linked to the public cloud. The platform only aggregates and opens data, and does not replace the safety interlock logic of control systems.

IX. FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the DVS Data Collection & Visualization Platform.

Which gateways can DVS collect data from?

Centrally manages APM-G220 (video / OCR / keyboard-mouse operation results), AIS-T100 (video OCR data collection) and AIS-G160 (protocol collection) as well as the customer's existing standard-protocol devices, shielding underlying differences to deliver consistent data services upward.

How does it integrate with MES/ERP?

The platform provides standard interfaces such as RESTful API, OPC UA, MQTT and Modbus, exposing data per the data models required by business systems, without modifying upper-level systems.

Can data from legacy protocol-less devices be collected?

Yes. APM-G220 video takeover + AIS-T100 OCR collection of key on-screen parameters serve as a fallback for protocol collection, feeding into DVS unified modeling.

Does data leave the factory / enterprise?

Private deployment by default keeps data on-premise; remote links go through the private / intranet network, meeting compliance for sensitive industries.
